Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-05 · LeadRescue is a product of JE Horizon LLC (North Carolina, USA). Draft for review.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the LeadRescue website (leadrescue.jehorizon.com), the LeadRescue web portal, and the LeadRescue missed-call recovery service. The data controller is JE Horizon LLC, North Carolina, USA. Contact: [email protected].
LeadRescue serves two distinct groups:
- Customers — service businesses that subscribe to LeadRescue (Path A tier $32/mo).
- Callers / end-users — people who phone or text a LeadRescue customer's number. We process their data on behalf of the customer.
2. What we collect — from customers (business owners)
- Account info — business name, owner name, owner email, owner phone, business vertical (e.g., HVAC, legal).
- Forwarding number configuration — the LeadRescue toll-free or local number we assign to the business.
- Billing data — payment provider customer ID (Stripe or PayPal). We do not see the card number.
- Portal session cookies — set when you sign in, expire when you sign out or after 30 days.
3. What we collect — from callers (end-users)
- Phone number — the number the caller dialed from, captured by Twilio when they call or text a LeadRescue-managed number.
- Voicemail recording — if the caller leaves a voicemail, we store the audio recording (hosted by Twilio) and a transcript generated by Twilio's transcription service.
- SMS transcript — the inbound and outbound text messages exchanged with the LeadRescue customer's number, including the AI-generated reply prompts and the caller's answers (name, address, problem summary, urgency, photo consent).
- Call metadata — Twilio CallSid, MessageSid, RecordingSid, timestamps, duration.
We do not collect: caller location beyond the phone-number area code, contacts, photos (unless the caller explicitly sends one in an SMS to the customer's number), or any device identifiers.
4. How we use what we collect
- To deliver the service: route inbound calls, take voicemail, run the AI-driven SMS intake, surface the lead to the business owner.
- To text the caller a follow-up apology and qualification questions on behalf of the business they called.
- To alert the business owner that a lead is waiting in their portal.
- To bill our paying customers (the business owners).
- To detect spam, abuse, and TCPA / CTIA opt-out keywords (STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, etc.).
- To respond when you contact support.
5. Who we share data with
- The LeadRescue customer (business owner) who runs the phone number you called — they see the lead transcript, recording, and your phone number in their portal.
- Twilio — telephony provider; handles voice, SMS, voicemail recording, and transcription. Subject to Twilio's privacy policy.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS Pinpoint SMS) — toll-free SMS delivery for the LeadRescue platform. AWS is subject to its own privacy terms.
- Stripe and PayPal — payment processing for our paying customers. They do not receive caller data.
- OpenAI / Anthropic / Google (LLM providers) — when generating the AI-personalized SMS reply, we pass minimal context (business name, vertical) to the LLM provider. We do not pass the caller's phone number or PII to the LLM provider.
- Cloudflare and Fly.io — hosting, DNS, edge security for the website and backend.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use caller data to train AI models.
6. SMS, TCPA, and consent
When you call or text a LeadRescue-managed number, the LeadRescue customer (the business you called) is communicating with you. Replies are sent on their behalf.
- You can reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any LeadRescue text and we will stop messaging you immediately, mark consent as revoked, and not text you again from that number.
- You can reply HELP to receive a contact email.
- Voicemail recordings are stored as part of delivering the missed-call recovery service to the business you called. If you would like a recording deleted, email [email protected].
7. Voicemail recordings
If you leave a voicemail on a LeadRescue-managed number:
- The recording is stored by Twilio (our telephony provider) for 90 days by default, then deleted.
- A text transcript is generated automatically and stored in the LeadRescue customer's portal alongside their lead record.
- The business you called can listen to the recording in their portal.
- You may request deletion of a specific recording by emailing us with the approximate date and the business you called.
8. Your rights
- Access — email us for a copy of what we have about your phone number.
- Deletion — email [email protected] and we will delete the lead record(s) associated with your phone number. Note: the business you called may retain their own records.
- Opt out of SMS — reply STOP. Effective immediately, permanent unless you opt back in.
- Portability — email us for an export.
If you are in the EU/UK, you have additional rights under GDPR. Email us. If you are in California, you have rights under CCPA — same email.
9. Data retention
- Customer (business) account data — kept while the account is active, then 90 days after deletion request.
- Lead records (caller phone, transcript, recording reference) — kept for the active customer subscription, then 12 months, then purged unless the customer's data-retention setting says otherwise.
- Voicemail audio at Twilio — 90 days default.
- Billing records — 7 years (US tax / accounting requirements).
- Server logs — 30 days.
10. Children
LeadRescue is a B2B service. It is not directed at children. If a minor has called a LeadRescue-managed number, the business owner is responsible for any age-related obligations in their industry.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that materially affects your rights, we will email registered customers at the address on file. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
